Description of Responsibilities

Connecticut based investment trading firm is actively hiring trade floor desktop support consultants. This is long term consulting right to hire opportunity.  

Provide support for production trading floors, end-user support, endpoint hardware and communications equipment within a Windows10 environment.Maintain mission critical clustered Windows based trading infrastructure servers.Primary point-of-contact for end-user support, trading floor workstations, Bloomberg terminals, IPC turrets and VoIP infrastructure and other vendor communication platforms.Administrator of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Citrix XenApp, Proofpoint, Veritas NetBackup and RSA environments.Troubleshoot server and client side hardware, software and network connectivity issues.Maintain corporate LAN, intranet, extranets, FIX connections and voice circuits.Implement storage configuration changes involving SAN zoning, Netapp administration and disk allocation.Maintain production server security compliance, OS security patching and security penetration systems and vulnerability testing.
