Senior Desktop Support Engineer

Description of Responsibilities

We are a boutique hedge fund based in NYC looking to hire and experience desktop support engineer to be the primary point of contact regarding technology issues for our small office.  This is a highly visible role to everyone in our team from our Executives to our analysts.  In addition, you will also be working on projects related to implementing a Single Sign on Solution as well as optimizing our current domain platform.

Job responsibilities include:

  •       Handle Active Directory issues, reset passwords, handle file permissions, etc.
  •       Handle Office365 issues, configure and troubleshoot
  •       Provide support for Windows Office and printers
  •       Configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices; troubleshoot issues
  •       Troubleshoot issues with Citrix, VPN, and WiFi
  •       Resolve spam and web filtering issues
  •       Troubleshoot issues with Bloomberg and other data feeds
  •       Help people with audio-visual equipment

These are the requirements for the position:

  •        Experience with Windows, Active Directory, Outlook, Exchange, Office, and printer support
  •        Experience configuring mobile devices
  •        Configuring desktops and laptops for remote access
  •        Familiarity with VPN, Citrix, WiFi
  •        Experience resolving spam filter and web filtering issues
  •        Experience troubleshooting Bloomberg and other data feeds
