Description of Responsibilities

We are a growing fintech firm with offices based in Princeton, NJ.  As our product offerings expand, we are looking to hire a Systems Specialist.  The Systems Specialist is responsible for managing the successful technical operation of our production trading and back office systems. This person will work very closely with the Trading Systems Help Desk, Software Development, the Business Strategy Group and the Exchange’s customer base.

Qualifications:

 Good troubleshooting skills and excellent communication and organizational skills a must

 Strong knowledge of the Linux command line interface and basic shell scripting

 Knowledge of communications protocols such as TCP/IP, Multicast and UDP a plus

 Some knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash a plus

 Knowledge of git a plus

 Eagerness to script and learn new technologies to advance and automate our environments a must

 Knowledge of a job scheduler/automation application like Tidal, Jenkins or Autosys a plus.

 Ability to work effectively as an individual or within a team.
